The COVID-19 pandemic and the racial injustice incidents that occurred in the past year have created tremendous physical, emotional, financial, and social stressors in our lives. Yet, many of our fellow nurses demonstrated their resilience and willingness to fight these monumental challenges. No one ran for the hills, even when their own lives were on the line. Instead, they ran straight into the fire and made countless sacrifices to put their patients and their communities first. They saved thousands of lives. To us, that selflessness is the very definition of heroism. The tremendous response from our members fills our hearts with pride and hope. To commemorate their selfless and heroic services, the PNAA Foundation is launching the “Bayani ng Mundo, Honoring our Nurse Heroes” Special Campaign to pay tribute to our members and others for their commitment and dedication to their chosen profession. The “Bayani ng Mundo, Honoring our Nurse Heroes” Special Campaign starts in January 2022 and ends in May 2022 during the Nurses’ Week celebration. We want to make it clear now more than ever to all those working on the frontlines in our communities that they are appreciated, and the work they are doing matters now more than ever. Thank you. | Do you know a nurse who goes above and beyond the call of duty? Have you been inspired and empowered by a colleague, group of nurses, or a nursing organization? Have you been touched by the exceptional care they provided to patients and the community? Honor your everyday heroes and support PNAAF “ Bayani ng Mundo” Honoring our Nurse Heroes Special Campaign Fundraising initiative. It’s a great way to thank our unsung heroes. Names of honorees can be submitted by patients, family, friends, colleagues, employers or any organization from January 2, 2022 until Nurses Week, May 6, 2022 List up to five (5) reasons why you are honoring your nurse hero Donate in honor of your nurse hero Honorees will be posted in the website and social media at the end of every month |
